Moving through Fear to Create Freedom

Moving through Fear to Create Freedom

Moving Through Fear

Fear is the emotion that holds us back from living our dream life, keeping us stuck in hesitation, self-doubt, and inaction. Yet, by facing this fear, embracing courage, and choosing to act despite uncertainty, we can unlock our true potential. This journey isn’t just about achieving success, but about transforming ourselves, connecting with our deeper purpose, and inspiring others. Whether it's through creating art, pursuing our passions, or breaking free from the limitations society imposes, we have the power to lead a life of freedom, abundance, and fulfillment. It all begins with the decision to move through fear and boldly step into our greatness.

What if I fail?

What if I look stupid?

What if I make a mistake?

What if I put myself out there and fail publicly?
What will people think when they see me trying?
Is she trying too hard?
Why is she so emotional? Why does she care so much?
Why does she feel so deeply, and why does she love her art so much?

From the outside, people don’t get it. People will judge because they are so shallow in their own superficial lives. Caught up in vanity and materialism. So focused on their "friends" and "followers" that they can't seem to come up with anything original themselves. They can’t comprehend what you are doing, and their minds can’t understand it. You make them uncomfortable by showing them what is possible. What a lot of beginner artists don't realize is that by committing to your art practice, you will become polarizing.
There will be humans who deeply resonate with your message and mission. And there will be people who are deeply triggered by you.

As a loving and deeply emphatic human, the thought of someone not loving you makes your skin crawl. Me, especially. This is something I've slowly learned to accept throughout this journey, is that in order to truly impact the lives of the one individual who truly needs me, I will also repel the wrong people.

Why am I scared to take action?

Many of us have subconscious blocks when it comes to receiving abundance in life, often without even realizing it. You might feel hesitant, uncertain, or even undeserving of the success you desire. But remember, by giving your gifts to the world, by sharing your creativity, you are adding immense value to people’s lives. People want what you have to offer, and when they invest in you—whether through your art, your knowledge, or your passion—they are also investing in themselves. By supporting you, they’re declaring to themselves that they are worthy of pursuing their own dreams.

The exchange of money or support is more than just a transaction—it’s an exchange of energy. When someone decides to invest in your work, they are choosing to transform their own life by taking a step toward their creative passions. They are saying “yes” to joy, to abundance, and to becoming who they truly are. And through your creative journey, you have the opportunity to show them what is possible: that they, too, can achieve success, fulfillment, and spiritual growth by following their passions. You are capable, you are worthy, and you are more than ready to share your gifts with the world.

Fear in the Backseat

When someone unsubscribes or unfollows me, I keep moving regardless. I keep posting, I keep creating. I don't let the numbers get to me because I remember the true reason why I am here doing what I do.

I share shamelessly because my goal is to touch the heart of just one person. To show her that she is capable of living a fulfilling and abundant life through listening to her creative spirt. I know I am capable of reaching millions of people with my message, and inspiring the hearts of so many around the world. It would be selfish of me to stop creating, to stop posting, to stop writing. What I have to share is important, and that one person truly need me. I have to admit that the reason I am able to step into this role as an artist and mentor is because I've seen other artists do it. They have showed me the path and revealed to me that it is possible to make a living off of my creative talents. Their courage showed me that I can do it. And in effect I am here spreading this message to you, so that you can find the courage within yourself to chase your creative spirt as well, and go on to inspire others with your boldness.

This is the ripple effect that happens when one person is courageous, others start to witness their courage and also take action.

There are so many souls who are thirsty to experience the greatness of God, and I am being called to be the vehicle that brings you closer to God and yourself through abstract art.

It’s not just about drawing, painting or writing. It’s about our human connection—to Source, to your soul, to your inner knowing. It’s about trusting your body to move the brush, the pen, and create magic. Art alchemizes frustration, anger, sadness, and grief into joy, harmony, and bliss. The act of creating art brings your soul peace and your mind to rest. The act of creation ultimately brings your whole body, mind and soul to become one with our creator, God. This is honestly what our soul truly craves is to be one with God, to experience Theosis.

Imagine a life if you allowed your fear to control your actions. You allowed fear to stop you for pursuing your true calling from God here on this earth. Fear will always be there, we can acknowledge the fear is there, but choose to move anyway. To take action anyways. To throw the fear in the back seat, and decide that you are in the drivers seat. You are the one putting your foot on the gas pedal. You are the one driving the car. God is in the passenger seat with your navigation and GPS telling you exactly where to go, and its up to you to listen to Him.

My Job: More Than Art

This job as a painter, writer and philosopher is not easy. If it were, everyone would do it. My job is so much more than painting and writing. It requires extreme focus, discipline, trust, and daily action. It demands deep connection, transparency, and the courage to keep showing up even when I feel defeated or embarrassed. I go all in on myself, burning the boats to any other possibility. I trust the deep knowing and listen to the call that God has placed in my heart.

That knowing tells me I will change the lives of so many women. I will help them see in themselves something they’ve never seen before. I want them to tap into the truest version of themselves, to feel empowered to express themselves deeply. Let them release their anger, pain, frustration, anxiety, stress, and fear onto the canvas, transforming that fear into beauty.

Let the fear move through their bodies like a venomous snake. Feel the knot in your throat, the pain in your chest, and cry—let the snake slither out of your mouth. Don’t allow it to squeeze your heart. Sing to it so it may live in harmony with you. I am listening to the call. I am here to do great things, to influence people to change their lives, to accomplish greatness by trusting their creative spirit.

The Ocean of Fear

When you think of the ocean and the vastness of the water, there is fear of drowning, being swept by the waves, exhaustion, dehydration, and the undertow. The cold waters are uncomfortable to the skin, and standing in the water waiting for the perfect moment to dive in feels unbearably uncomfortable.

Even though I know that once I dive under, all the agony will fade away, I hesitate anyway. I make the decision to just do it, just dive in. My whole body submerged, all those fears dissolve and disappear. I swim under the surface like I was born there, completely in flow with the current.

It is harder and more uncomfortable to stay frozen and not move. Overthinking leads to distress, and not taking action leads to utter despair—frustration, anxiety, anger. These emotions arise because of our inaction. They can be easily be avoided when you just take action. Dive under the water right away. Not giving yourself the chance to over think it.

Create art unapologetically and post it immediately. Write from your heart and post it. Why sit in overthinking and inaction just to put yourself through agony?

Courage: The Antidote to Fear

The opposite of fear is courage. In this life, we have two options: to live in fear, stay comfortable, complacent, and unfulfilled—or to take action with courage. Be willing to be uncomfortable temporarily to receive fulfillment, pleasure, and ultimate freedom. Without courage, there can never be freedom. Without true freedom, your soul will never feel fulfilled.

During the Greek Revolution of 1821, the Greeks had been under Turkish occupation for 400 years, enslaved and ready for change. Their chant was “Eleftheria i Thanatos,” which means “Give me liberty or give me death.” The nine blue and white stripes on the Greek flag represent the nine syllables of that phrase. Freedom was their ultimate goal, and they fought courageously to achieve it.

Freedom from Financial Slavery

Personally, I relate to this mantra deeply. We are no longer enslaved by a foreign country, but many of us are slaves to money within our own. While I’m grateful for the freedom and safety we do have, the majority of Americans are enslaved to their paychecks. Our society forces people to sit at a desk for a small hourly rate just to survive.

Growing up, I watched my parents be slaves to their paychecks. Money controlled our emotions and happiness. The absence of money brought misery, fear, and hopelessness. Living in scarcity decays all hope for freedom.

But life is about our thoughts. If we constantly think in scarcity, we will live in scarcity. Our thoughts are tied to emotions like stress, anxiety, and fear, which keep us stuck. On the contrary, if we look at life knowing that we hold the pen, we become the authors of our own story. We visualize our ideal day, educate ourselves, and find solutions to create the life of freedom we desire.

Your Story

As humans, we are storytelling creatures. Now, I want you to write your own story. Pretend you’re 10 years older, telling your daughter or granddaughter everything you accomplished. Write about the challenges you faced, how you were scared but did it anyway, and how you found success and abundance. Write about the life you created.

When you take ownership of the pen and claim your role as the author of your life, you take the first step toward achieving true freedom. God is in control of the bigger picture, but He gives you free will to live your life as you choose. So, make your choice. Will you live in slavery or freedom? In fear or courage?

I choose freedom, and I choose courage.

Sending you lots of courage to start pursing your creative passions.

Me Agape,
