For the busy individual, couple or friends seeking to carve out time for creative expression- it's time for your Creative Escape!

You're invited to an intimate abstract art workshop guided by professional artist Christina Angelos. Alongside painting instruction, Christina will infuse each class with her signature sprinkling of ancient greek philosophies and modern psychology for an experience that is restorative and inspiring. 

Each workshop will feature a new art technique and includes all the materials you will need for the workshop and ✨beyond.✨ 

You will leave each workshop with the skills and confidence to make creativity a relaxing part of your daily routine!

Light bites & drinks will be provided. Please feel free to BYOB & snacks!

Workshop 1: Drawing your Memories 

Learn how to let your hand move on autopilot. Trusting your body to release any stuck thoughts or emotions through abstract lines and shapes on the paper. 

Optional: Bring a printed photo of your favorite travel memory. A sunset, a flower, a building, a beach, a national park.

We will learn to pick out abstract lines and shapes from the photo and create our own original abstract art inspired by our own personal life experiences. 

Workshop 2: Intuitive Watercolor Painting

Warm up by squiggling freely across the page and allow the paint to do whatever it wants!  

Learn the basic principles of design and the secrets to creating abstract art that the human brain will perceive as beautiful.

We will use the tranquility of the sea to inspire our marks.

Using lines, shapes & colors to express the feeling of relaxation & bliss.  

Workshop 3:  Acrylic Painting 

Be inspired by what we have learned from our previous lessons, and create on canvas using acrylic paint. 

Learn from Christina how to create a compelling abstract composition and how to create depth & dimension by applying thin transparent layers of paint on the canvas.

Our main inspiration will be expressing the feeling of being in nature by using our own unique arrangement of abstract lines and shapes.

Embracing imperfections and enjoying the process of painting! 

You will get to choose your own color pallet to create a work of art that will fit seamlessly into your home!
