In the entire summer landscape of Greece, blue and white dominate, even away from the Cycladic islands and the quintessential whitewashed buildings. The sky is bluer here, a different blue every day, every hour, but always blue. The sun, if you were to draw it, would demand a white Crayola crayon, not yellow or orange. In the land of blue and white, when you look up you will also maybe (probably) see a church, a sign that your soul is in the right place, and an invitation to peace and the joy of living.
