My husband and I are blessed to watch our little Floridian oasis of a backyard be lit by the setting sun every evening. Though we are thousands of miles away from Greece, the light, the water, the birds…the wonder and the peace…are much like what one experiences on a waterfront evening in that ancient, holy land. This painting attempts to capture the essence of the beautiful gift God has allowed us to call “home”.
